Marco Bertoletti – owner and Head of Production at Legend Bicycles

Reknown as an artisan frame builder, Sig. Bertoletti (Marco) has a special position in the world of cycling.  His products are acknowledged for highest standards of construction with benchmark standards for ride quality, durability and performance.  An innovator and leader in his field.

Marco started building frames at the age of 15 (40+ years experience now) for  manufacturers where he learnt his craft.  In 1989 he founded his own construction company M.B.Bikes where he produced frames for some of Europe’s most famous cycle brands.

In 2009 Marco created Legend – his own marque into which he could pour his experience, new ideas, belief in best materials & processes and passion without compromise.  The public now could obtain hand made, personalised masterpieces from expert craftsmen using the best technologies and equipment.  His reputation stems from his involvement from concept, to design and to implementation for every model of frame in the Legend range.

Reknown for meticulous attention to detail and finish in addition to his openess to share knowledge and be available to help improve the industry.  His work is open to scrutiny so there are no question marks over provenance nor construction.
